Gentle Yoga

These classes are well suited for those newer to yoga and/or less fit.joint range of motion, increased lung capacity, and improved sense of balance align with our specific wellness needs as we age. 

The Focus is on basic alignment, gentle stretching and the breath in a supportive environment for beginners and continuing practitioners.

These classes are well suited for new and experience students with a basic level of fitness.

Continuing studies that balance strength with flexibility, refine alignment techniques and begin to build endurance. Fine for those newer to yoga, if you are physically fit.

Intermediate Yoga

More challenging classes that help you expand your practice on all levels; building stamina, strength and a steady mind in a serious, but playful environment. Not recommended for the beginner.

All Levels Kundalini Yoga

Alternating Sun 6:30p (see schedule)

 

Kundalini yoga is referred to as the yoga of awareness. Each class combines asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation to produce an experience of one's highest consciousness.  Suitable for all levels.

50+ Yoga

Practicing yoga at every age has endless benefits, but yoga is especially rewarding as we get older. The enhanced flexibility joint range of motion, increased lung capacity, and improved sense of balance align with our specific wellness needs as we age.

LIM yoga's gentle approach blends traditional poses with modifications and chair support.  If you have been hesitant to try yoga because of physical limitations or medical restrictions, smile, relax and start where you are.

Prenatal Yoga

Thurs 6:45p

 

Prenatal yoga enhances and empowers a woman’s experience of pregnancy and birth on all levels.  Physically, prenatal yoga increases strength and flexibility and can alleviate common prenatal ailments, all while helping a woman to prepare her body for labor and birth. Yoga also encourages a woman to connect with her pregnancy and her baby’s growth as a journey into motherhood.  For more information and start dates check the events page.
