Below are some of our favorite groups and resources on the Web -- those organizations with whom we share energy and to some extent philosophy. Please give them a visit and, if you like what you find, tell them the Yoga Center of Newburyport sent you!

Svatantrya.com Svatantrya.com  (Manny's personal website)Svatantrya means liberty, autonomy, spontaneity. There are inner worlds and outer worlds... In stillness we become acquainted with our divine self. We start to glimpse and discern our patterns. We begin to grasp an understanding of our world. We start to co-create a new life grounded in our inner core. A journey into ancient traditions held secret by holy men. A journey of stillness and movement, of integration and openness, of life force and peaceful surrender. Moving through your body into the essence of your being. By creating freedom in our body, freedom in our mind, life force moves freely in our being and our world becomes alive!

Matrika Yoga Matrika Yoga is dedicated to educating, preserving, and progressing the great teachings of yoga that originated in the Indian Subcontinent and have been transformed in the West. Placing the teachings into the context of Indian history and refocusing them into our own culture and society, we look empathetically and critically at the revolutionary understandings that yoga brings to the body, mind, and spirit. Every opinion is held up against the scrutiny of its argument, evidence, and conclusions. All voices are given a place to contribute to our conversation.
