Specialty Classes

Please enter the studio through the alley to the right of the building, through the garden and up to the back porch door.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin. Leave your shoes at the door and sign in at the registration table. Help yourself to a Center mat from the wooden shelves if you need one.

If you have any injuries or physical challenges, please let the teacher know before class. Always modify poses as necessary to care for yourself and the needs of your body.

If the studio door is closed when you arrive, please wait until the "centering" is complete before entering quietly. You are welcome to hang around after class for a cup of tea with your fellow students!

Weather Cancellation Policy

Our morning classes (7:00-10:00 AM ) will be cancelled if Newburyport public schools are cancelled or delayed. You can find this out on TV channels 7(NBC), 5(ABC) and 25 (Fox); Radios stations WBZ 1030 or WNBP 1450 AM; or online at http://wbz1030.com/pages/3396.php

For classes starting after 10AM and on weekends or if there is a parking ban in effect, please call the center at 978-463-4354. Decisions will be recorded at least 90 minutes before the scheduled class start time. We will also try to post online, but if there is no message, call the center.
